Win On Final Day Hythe Off Bottom

H&D 's Men's Indoor team recorded their first win of the season on the final night by beating Lyndhurst by 27 runs. This meant that Hythe sent Hursley Park to the bottom of Div 2.

Hythe batting first recorded 138-5 off their 12 overs thanks to a strong opening stand by Jonjo Stovell 41 & Tom Jones 20. Dan Jones 30* came in late on to make a very useful contribution.

Lyndhurst started brightly but then lost wickets at a consistent pace. Hythe only bowling 7 wides certainly helped reduce the score. Mike Bowman 0-16 off 2 was the most consistent bowler whilst there were wickets for bot the Jones brothers.

Hythe finish 6th Lyndhurst 4th.
