Hythe Ladies Move Upto 2nd With Double Win
Hythe & Dibden Ladies have moved upto 2nd in the Gang Warily Indoor Tournament after a double winning evening last Sunday
In the opening games of the night they were chasing a par score of 251 vs Sarisbury ~ Judy & Kate taking a wicket a piece. But with 3 of the 4 Hythe partnerships scoring over 20+ they managed to score 280 with the loss of no wickets.
Wai top scoring with 9 and a top partnership of 26 with Judy.

We expected the Wellow game to be a tougher game and so it proved.
Wellow batted first scoring 240 for 3 ~ Dawn 2 & Wai 1 with the wickets and a great catch on the back wall by Debs.
Sue & Debs got Hythe off to a great start with a 21 partnership. Hilary & Pam lost a wicket making the game tight at the half way point. Dawn & Kate added 22 after being gifted 18 in wides. Going into the pairing Hythe were 5 behind Wellow.
The penultimate over went for just 6 putting Hythe 1 in front. They only needed to avoid losing a wicket. Judy though hit 9 off the final over and Hythe won by 7 runs to go above Sway.
