H&D 4th XI May Results

The 4th XI currently sit 11th of 18 teams in a frustrating May where they only played two games

Sat 11th Opener vs Paultons III

The match was called off very early in the week because the King George V Playing Fields (like many grounds) wasnt ready to start the season.

Sat 18th H&D 4th XI vs Southampton Tuskers II

H&D 125-9 (J.Stovell 58) Beat Southampton Tuskers 56a/o (D.Prentice 4-11, D.Duell 4-23) by 69 Runs 

Strengthened by the cancellation of the 2nd team game Hythe put up a good showing against the Tuskers.

Without Stovell's 58 they would have struggled however it was the two Dans who bowled superbly to earn the win.

H&D 82a/o (S.Moss 13) Lost Locks Heath IV 83-0 by 10 Wkts

Took longer to get to Victoria Park than actually play. A weakened and ten man Hythe were no match for a very good young Locks attack. Bowled out for just 82 they were soundly beaten
