Hythe 3s travelled to the Lymington Sports Ground knowing they were in for a tough encounter as the home side elected not to run a 2nd XI in the mini leagues.
The homeside batted first and thanks to 158 from Alex Deem piled up a score of 294-4. Hythe mind didnt help themselves with a series of drop catches and poor bowling.
Zac Moss picked up 2-36 whilst Steve Chiverton was the most economical 0-26 off 5.
Great to see Jack Knight-Owen playing once again for Hythe.
So with the win well out of their depth's it was all about batting practise. Sadly only Martin Duell 39 & Shaun Moss 34 fancied the idea and Hythe were all out for 133.
RESULT : Lymington 3rd XI Beat Hythe & Dibden 3rd XI by 161 Runs
