Toby's first century

Congratulations to 16 year old Toby Lambley on his first senior hundred. Toby opened the batting against Phoenix CC at Jones Lane on Sunday 21st July. 

Watchful at first the young keeper/batsman grew in confidence playing quality shots around the ground showing great temperament as he eased himself to 100. 

Toby's 103* came in a total of 237-5 before bowling out Phoenix for 144. Toby's knock was described as 'outstanding' by one watching Committee man Toby has long been tipped as one to watch hopefully this will be the first of many 100s for the club & along with a lot of promising Colts coming through the system bodes well for the future.
