Next Weeks Pre Season Friendlies All Off

Unsurprisingly the weather has put paid to this weeks friendly at Steeple Langford and all four planned friendlies for next weekend are now off.

The wet weather has been relentless over the past month and some leagues around the country are considering putting their opening league games back.

Just to give you an update on where we are at Hythe. We are only half way through are pre season rolling and the heavy weights havent gone into the roller as yet. The outfield is due to be repaired this Tuesday. 

The square will need to be scarified and pitches marked out before we consider playing. We then have to work on the match pitch. Fence will need to come down from around the square ~ Busy evenings after work. AIM IS ~ To get the pre season game vs Bramshaw on for the 29th April.

The QE2 Square we also plan to have ready for Burridge III on the 29th. That square is a little more behind, goal posts need to come down but it does dry better at Thornberry Avenue with those winds. Keep you posted.

TJ is getting a 2nd XI for next Saturday @ South Winchester whilst Dan Duell is getting a team for the following day.
