In line with the latest Government and ECB guidance, we are able to make available our net facilities to members during selected hours of the week.
All sessions must adhere strictly to the ECB and Government guidance on social distancing. Ahead of making a booking, please refresh yourself of the latest guidance on the ECB website.
In addition to the guidelines, the following guidelines must be adhered to.
No more than 6 people to use the net at any time with no bookings less than 30 minutes apart. Please ensure social distancing is observed while waiting to bowl.
Each bowler must bring their own individual balls and only used their own ball during net session
You must regularly use hand sanitiser before and after each session. Observe social distancing at all times.
Please book at least 3 days in advance.
You must book with (and name) your net “buddy” when booking. Bookings made on an individual basis will not be accepted. If you do not have a net buddy, ask on one of the club’s WhatsApp groups to see who has availability to join you.
In addition, a club official must be present during your session to ensure public safety and that the guidelines are being followed. If no club official is available, then regretfully the net cannot be used.
Please contact and agree availability with an official before you make a booking.
Club officials are committee members, captains and vice captains. Those who may be available to oversee net sessions are listed at the bottom of this document.
The cage must be returned to its’ storage place after each use.
The clubhouse will not be open.
Please be aware that the playing area is a public park which is being used more frequently than has been the case in recent years.
The public take priority at all times. Please be aware of where they are and what they are doing. If necessary, stop practice and wait for them to move.
Avoid confrontation with the public at all times, even if that means stopping the session.
Respect the rules and each other at all times
We reserve the right to cancel bookings in order to provide equal access to all members.
Please book via email to i.prentice1@btinternet.com.
