Hampshire Division Averages

Hampshire Cricket League

The Hampshire Cricket League published their Divisional Averages last week and as expected Hythe had no players in the County 3 South tables.

Jamal Jackson's 5 for 46 at Kerela Portsmouth however was the 16th Best Bowling Performance.

In Regional 1 West ~ Hythe & Dibden 3rd XI had Sean Tongs make the Batting Average Table in 17th position. His 299 runs @ 33.22 was 566 runs behind winner A.Martin (Burley II).

Former H&D player Paul Toon (Beaulieu) had the best individual score of the season 140 vs Sway IIIs whilst Hythe's Greg Livermore's 125* vs New Milton IIIs finished 6th.   

In the Bowling ~ Luke Mills finished 16th in the averages with 19 wkts @ 16.16 ~ 9 wickets behind winner L.Pettenell (Mudeford). Puncheys 8 for 5 vs Bransgore IIs was the top peformance of the division whilst Noah Vaughan's 6 for 38 vs Suttoners was 3rd.

Down in Central 2 ~ Hythe & Dibden 4th XI had Glen Kinchington finish 3rd in the Batting Averages with 298 runs @ 49.67. He finished 166 runs behind top batsman G.Wilkins of Old Netley & Highfield IIIs. Shaun Moss finished 8th with 276 runs @ 39.43.

In the Bowling ~ skipper Richard Steadman finished 3rd with 22 wickets @ 14.82. He was 12 wkts behind winner A.Petley (Ampfield & N/B IIs).

Martin Duell finished 12th with 15 wkts @ 8.47 whilst Steve Thompson finished 13th also with 15 wkts but @ 17.07.

Martin Duell's 6 for 8 was the divisions best figures of the season whilst Jamie Fletcher's 5 for 33 vs Lyndhurst & Ashurst IIs was 5th.
